I’m trying something new called “Trying Tuesday.” Essentially, every Tuesday I’ll post a blog post updating you all on something I’ve tried doing. Each month or so, it’ll be a different project. Hopefully I’ll actually stick to it!
For the first Trying Tuesday, I’ll be introducing the project for the month. As you can tell from the title, it’ll include annotating and March.

I’ll be annotating—full out highlight, writing, post-its—my copy of These Shallow Graves by Jennifer Donnelly!
I read These Shallow Graves about three/four years ago and absolutely loved it. I feel like it’s an underrated book, but I always think about it and how amazing it was. So, since it’s been awhile and I want to reread it, it felt like the perfect book to annotate.

My experience with annotating ends with highlighting or underlining quotes, and writing “omg,” “lol,” “hahaha,” and “yassss girl” in the margins. But I’ve been watching several videos about annotating on booktube and have come up with the best way for me to annotate this book and make the copy uniquely mine.
I obviously won’t start this until March, and so next Tuesday will include more details, including of how I’ll be annotating. Then, March will come and I’ll start!
To be honest, I’m very excited for this. What about you? Are you interested in reading these updates? Tell me in the comments!
Thank you for reading and see you next time ❤
