It’s that time of the month again: here’s my monthly TBR!

I’m almost done reading all the books I physically own, and I’m hoping to finish most of them this month so I can start getting books from the library without my TBR judging me.

So, without further ado, here are the books I’m hoping to read this month:

A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer

I’m very excited to dive into this Beauty and the Beast retelling this month. Even though I think there’s a surplus of Beauty and the Beast retelling in YA, I’m still a sucker for them. *Sucker by the Jonas Brothers plays* Also, bonus points for the beautiful cover, I’m in love! It also has cerebral palsy rep, and I’ve heard great things about the rep.

Just One Duology by Gayle Forman

I’ve already started reading Just One Day and I think Gayle Forman can be crowned Queen of stories set in one day. I don’t know how she does it, but she can craft such an amazing story that takes place in only 24 hours. I loved If I Stay and Where She Went and so far I’m not disappointed by this one!

Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett

I meant to read this book last month but I ran out of time. I do think this month is a better time to read it though, because with March Break next week, it means I can binge read it without school interrupting my reading time. I almost always end up binge reading Jenn Bennett’s books so I don’t doubt I’ll do it for this one too.

The Queen of Attolia by Megan Whalen Turner

I’m not a big fan of the first book. I found it quite boring, to be honest, and I could barely get through the last eighty pages. But I’ve been assured that The Queen of Attolia is much better, so let’s hope! I really want to like it, mostly because I already own the series and I don’t want to force myself to read them, oops.

And that’s it! I’m probably going to get a few books from the library along the month, but it’s a fairly small TBR for the time being. I’m feeling like going with the flow lately with reading, so we’ll see where that takes me!
