Rating: 3.5/5 stars

Author: Kasie West

Stand-alone or series: Companion novel to Love, Life, and the List.

Page Number: 384

This is it. My last mini review for a Kasie West book until her new release. I’ve officially binge read all her books and reviewed them! I’ve had the most fun the past few months doing this, and now I’m on the hunt for a series of books where I can do this again with. If you have any recommendations, defiantly tell me!

Fame, Fate, and the First Kiss was much better than Love, Life, and the List. I didn’t like the latter much, but the former was significantly better. I’ve always been interested in acting and the making of movies and theatre, even if I can’t act. So, reading a book set in a movie set was really fun!

I do think the ending was a little confusing and there were some things that didn’t add up. It might just be me not really getting it or the ending truly was rushed.

This book isn’t a total favourite but it was still entertaining!

SPOILERS

I’ll start with saying that both Lacey and Donovan were great characters. I enjoyed following Lacey’s story, and Donovan was just the perfect gorgeous nerd. Their love story was good, nothing too spectacular but I was still invested enough.

Lacey’s co-stars and friends were alright. I didn’t really care for them. I did suspect them, especially the guy’s (I forgot his name oops) agent. But turns out they were innocent!

Lacey’s dad was understandable but he was also frustrating at times. I’m glad that he and Lacey were able to clear things up.

I also really liked the snippets from the movie Lacey was filming! I think it would be a great trashy book to read to get out of a slump.

So, what did you think of this book if you’ve read it? Did you like it? Tell me in the comments!

Thank you for reading and see you next time ❤
