I’m a perfectionist, through and through, and even at five, I had no interest in embarrassing myself.

I’ve been waiting for this book since it first got announced, a few years ago I think. I even followed the author and added it to my Goodreads shelf to make sure I didn’t forget about it.
It was worth the wait.
Tweet Cute is probably one of my favourite contemporary reads this year. The premise itself is unique and new—a Twitter war. Add to it the extra layers of two people falling for each other virtually and anonymously, just to fall for each other in life too? I love this song.
And let’s not get started on the food in this book. I want to try all the uniquely named desserts in this book, everything from the Monster Cake, So Sorry Blondies, Kitchen Sink Macaroons, and more. All while reading this book I’ve had the urge to bake and eat.
I loved Pepper and Jack. They were well-written and likeable characters. They made mistakes, but they weren’t infuriating. The romance was cute and well-done. I haven’t enjoyed a well-done romance like this for quite a few books!
The writing was also phenomenal. I enjoyed the fun way the story was told and found myself laughing several times throughout.
All in all, this was an excellent book that I’ll scream about for quite some time!
Thank you for reading and see you next time ❤
