All that is good and accomplished in this world takes work and a little chaos.

Verse novels are always fun to read, and very quick. My first experience was with The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo. Then I read Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds. So now I’m on the hunt for more verse novels, and a popular one I found is Solo! I was surprised by how long it is though.

I didn’t really end up liking this. It was long and dragged on at times and I didn’t get the enjoyment I felt with other verse novels. There weren’t much secrets revealed or hard hitting words.

The plot is relatively okay. It has a clear purpose and I enjoyed a lot for the events that happened. The characters were nice too, I didn’t mind Blade.

Not much to say, to be honest, other than it was a bit of disappointing that I felt meh about.

Thank you for reading and see you next time ❤
