As soon as I read the synopsis, I had a feeling I was going to love this book.

I was right.

OH. MY. GOD.

This book was FANTASTIC. Words are not adequate to describe how amazing this book was (which is unfortunate as this is a blog post).

But seriously, everything about this book was great. I literally could not sleep because all I could think about was this book and reading it.

To be honest, I did not see the plot twist coming. I’ve read so many books that I usually can see them coming, but not this one!

I loved the ending. It was happy but also realistic. I might’ve liked one short chapter or epilogue one year later to see how everyone is, but it was still satisfying.

I wouldn’t mind having a Ness and Jess book. These two have a story in them, and I would read it. Like maybe about them meeting up, falling in love, dealing with her mom, moving to college. They were amazing in this book and I’m sure their story would be too.

Zan and Rico had amazing chemistry, amplified all the more with their cute interactions. Their hugs? Ugh, so cute.

My most favourite part of the book, though, is probably the inanimate objects chapters. I love books that have extra and different stuff like this, and these chapters just gave an extra something to the book and made it all the more enjoyable. They were hilarious, too. I found myself laughing a lot during this book!

It also really made me aware of the privilege I have in not having to worry about making rent, paying bills, emergency hospital visits, food, etc. No one should have to live with the uncertainty of attaining basic human needs.

I defiantly recommend this book, it’s amazing!

Thank you for reading and see you next time ❤
