This book was simply fantastic! It’s a series of events that shape a story, a love that can be seen and felt since Nicola Yoon writes so well. Daniel and Natasha are two characters that won’t be forgotten easily.
The Sun Is Also a Star follows Natasha and Daniel as they spend a day together. The two have vastly different outlooks on life and love, but despite that they manage to fall in love. Throughout the book, you get glimpses into other people’s lives that the couple encounter. We get to see how certain events shaped others. How everything is connected.
I loved the glimpses into the lives of the other characters. I liked the glimpses into the past and the future. It was interesting seeing how every action made, every little thing, comes together to result in a story like this.
Natasha was a great character. She’s realistic and believes in cold hard facts. I like seeing how she developed over the day and that she got a happy ending. I defiantly enjoyed reading about her.
Daniel was also another great character. His earnestness and passion were fun to ready, and I loved how emotional he was. It was really cute and together, Daniel and Natasha made an awesome couple!
The beginning was a bit slow for me, and it took a bit to get into. But once it picked up, I couldn’t put it down!
All in all, this was an amazing book that I defiantly recommend.
